America celebrates Martin Luther King's life and legacy.

Last night I had a nightmare, I dreamed Martin Luther King was just a fiction movie: he was a hippie, crazy demonstrator, who had too much drugs and was very unpatriotic - he was the enemy. I dreamed his speech "I had a dream" never happened, that it was a hoax, fake news, and not appropriate. This morning I woke up and I realized, it wasn't a dream I had, it was a reality.

President of the United States instructions to his cabinet members: he wants Norwegian immigrants, he does not want people from Haiti or other "shithole countries" - he forgot to say he wants blondes, preferably arians - he wants people selected by the color of their skin, religion, gender, and the origin of their European countries.

He hates Muslims, Mexicans, Latinos, Haitians, black, LGBTQ, fat, short, handicapped people... he forgot to mention the Jews.

It was not a dream I had last night, it is our reality - a country who wants to deport the dreamers (800 thousand of them) and shut down their dream.

It is true we just had a tax cut aimed to deepen the inequality in our society - the tax cut to enrich the wealthy and dilute the poor, a tax cut to convince the poor to manage with less.

It was not a dream to have rapists, child molesters, and liars, to be qualified to lead America. It was not a dream to see america shutting its gates, threatening the freedom of its citizens, and feeding people with hate. America who disputes science, America losing its leadership in the world, America standing alone in its nationalism and protectionism. America wants to surround itself with walls. America of the cowards, America of Archie Bunker.

So I googled if there was a Martin Luther King, it's still there on google: a speech he carried on August 28th, 1963 protesting injustice over 55 years ago, and so he spoke: " I had a dream... I still have a dream, a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. One day this nation will rise up and live up to the true meaning of its creed... We hold this truth to be self evident that all men are created equal... I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today."
